About Us
Kennedy’s Arboriculture was founded in 2001 by David M. Kennedy, with the goal of providing high-quality, biologically-based tree care and planting in central Ohio and beyond. We serve commercial, governmental and residential clients.
Kennedy’s Arboriculture, LLC strives to preserve trees and shrubs. Although tree preservation is our goal, we can advise on tree risk, remove trees when necessary and consult and plant new trees.
Kennedy’s Arboriculture was founded on the principles of ethics, integrity, quality and exceptional customer service. We possess the skills and have the experience to properly maintain and enhance the health, safety and value of trees and shrubs in accordance with the latest industry standards American National Standards Institute (A300, Z133, Z 60.1).
About the Owner
Owner and founder of Kennedy’s Arboriculture LLC, David Michael Kennedy has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the Ohio State University. He is an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist (OH 900) and is American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) Registered Consulting Arborist #439, one of only nine in the state of Ohio. Mr. Kennedy has twenty years’ experience in all aspects of arboriculture.
Mr. Kennedy is a skilled tree climber and is licensed by The Ohio Department of Agriculture (ODA) as a Commercial Applicator (# 5940)
Being a Certified Arborist, Registered Consulting Arborist and Commercial Applicator, Mr. Kennedy must complete extensive annual continuing educations requirements (CEU’s). He routinely attends professional seminars and workshops on subjects such as Tree Risk Assessment, Tree Appraisal, Building around Trees, Trees and Utilities, Tree Planting and Plant Health Care to name a few.
Mr. Kennedy personally participates in all consulting and practical arboricultural projects of Kennedy’s Arboriculture LLC.
